What it's like to Facilitate: A Dance Between Worlds

Last night, after the Waves of Awakening session, someone asked a question that caught me feeling inspirational:

"What does it feel like to facilitate this work?"

The first word that rises to my mind is amazing.

To facilitate this process — to guide another being into the spaces where the body meets Source, where God, Creator, the Maker of all things whispers the blueprint of creation — it’s one of the greatest privileges I know.

But it’s more than amazing.

It’s a sacred dance. A silent prayer.

When I sit at the head of a participant, I first honor their soul. I feel into the essential vibration of who they are through my hands, my heart, and my third eye. I ask permission — not with words, but with presence. If permission is granted, I slowly integrate my field with theirs, carefully and reverently.

Then I reach up — through my astral cords, through my crown — as far as their soul’s vibration will allow.

I reach into the highest light available to them and gently bring it back down, pouring it into their body and energetic field.

From there, I don’t control.

I listen.

Their body, their energy leads me.

I simply encourage the current to flow — expanding, harmonizing, weaving them back to their own unlimited potential.

Interestingly, this process echoes many ancient spiritual practices:

In Kundalini traditions and Tantric Shaivism, there is a principle of transmitting higher energy to awaken the soul’s latent power, always in harmony with what the body and soul are ready to receive.

In Pranic Healing and Reiki, facilitators honor the integrity of the client's field, asking permission, and acting as a conduit for Source energy.

In Shaktipat, the ancient tradition of transmitting spiritual energy through touch or intention, the facilitator offers a "spark" that the soul can fan into a flame if it is ready.

This work is not about force.

It’s about listening deeply.

It’s about meeting the participant exactly where they are and gently offering a bridge to what already lies within them.

The same participant shared something beautiful with me last night after the session.

He said, for the first time, he could feel the separate energy signatures of each facilitator — and mine, he said, felt like wind, wax, and feathers. It reminded him of Icarus.... That's the myth of the boy who dared to fly.

And in many ways, it is like that.

To facilitate this work is to take flight — to stretch into the unknown, with trust and humility — and to carry others with you, as high as they are ready to go.

It’s a dance between light and body, between gravity and grace.

It’s a prayer made of Love, Freedom, Beauty, and Empowerment.

And it’s my honor to be a part of it all.

Thanks for the prompt Noah, always insightful and symbolic 🙏🏻
