Massage
I've been trained in many modalities through my years of
schooling, continuing education, and clinical work. I like to use a mix of whatever is pertinent to the issues that a client is experiencing along with meeting the expectations of the treatment time.
Rest and Restore Massage

The classic rest, relax, and restore. This massage uses techniques that are a mix of flowing lymphatic strokes, heat building circulatory strokes, and a little bit of focused deeper work on spot trouble areas. An all around balanced treatment for standard destressing and relaxation.
NeuroMuscular Massage

Neuromuscular Therapy, similar to Medical Massage, is a highly-specialized form of manual therapy that corrects pain and dysfunction by treating trigger points, muscle adhesions, and fascial (connective tissue) patterns. These trigger points, adhesions and fascial patterns can form due to a specific trauma, postural pattern, or series of repetitive movements. Neuromuscular Therapy sessions utilize precise treatment protocols to correct these patterns by releasing tight fascia, palpating and decreasing trigger points in tight bands of muscle and releasing areas of stuck muscle in an effective and efficient manner. The muscular areas of pain, and the surrounding muscles that are affected due to biomechanics and compensation for the primary pain are treated using these protocols.
Medical Massage

Medical massage incorporates several techniques--such as trigger point therapy, percussion massage, scraping, cupping, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, and hot and cold therapy--to help your body heal naturally from intermittent and chronic pain.
Post Op Massage

Techniques are client specific. Post Op includes Manual Lymphatic drainage to clear the bodies detox pathways, Scar Tissue Management, Hot Stone Massage, dynamic cupping, vibration, KT taping, body sculpting, coaching, and support throughout your healing journey.
Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic Drainage Massage is beneficial to so many systems in the body! The lymphatic system runs right under the skin and helps to detoxify your entire body. If you experience chronic bloating or swelling, have had a recent surgery which has impaired your vessels, or just want a very light soothing massage this is the one for you. Lymphatic drainage is much different than other modalities. It uses superficial pumping movements with a still hand flushing in the direction of the vessels and assisting more lymph to be processed. afterwards its does include light effleurage and essential oils to aid in the bringing all the body together for optimal harmony.
More Exotic Modalities

I also practice Ayurvedic Abhyanga style massage, Lomilomi, and Tui Na. I have full session protocols for these but generally will mix them into all of my bodywork sessions.
