Cupping is a type of alternative therapy that originated in China. It involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. The suction facilitates healing through increased blood flow and decompression. Proponents also claim the suction helps facilitate the flow of “qi” in the body.

 

I have silicon cups, heart shaped or regular round manual vacuum cups, and an ACE MC-600 MediCupping VacuTherapy Machine.

• Russian Silicone Cups are used for lighter fascial and lymphatic work. (My favorite!)
